One Simple Ingredient

I’m writing this post as a plea for my sisters and friends to step out of their comfort zone and find the creativity that is living and breathing deep down within them. I have been asked soooo many times – how in the world can I manage my day job with my photography job. The answer is simple – the photography “job” is not a job to me, it is my late night TV special, my midnight chocolate fix, the smile that spreads across my face when I get “that shot”. This year, I have set such huge, gigantic goals for myself and the growth of my love of photography and I know without a shadow of a doubt I will reach my goals because of one simple ingredient, I love what I do. Start asking yourself, what are you crazy in love with?

I found these stories inspirational and I know you will too! Click here and here.

My little one's goal, is to reach 200!

What's your goal?

Oh what fun we had!!

I had such a blast at this session... the kids --- oh my goodness --- talk about entertainment! They were such a natural in front of the camera, I could have spent another hour just following them around capturing candids! Here's a peek!

Tough Cookie....

We met at Ponto. The youngest immediately said "cheese" the minute he saw me lift my camera... the oldest did not.... he was a tough cookie.... he is six after all. And yes I do know tough cookies... I have one :). So I said... I bet you don't have teeth... well maybe... you have one.... or two... maybe..? And then the most amazing sound.... his laugh. A laugh that would make anyone around him laugh. Tough cookie... I don't think so...
