Happy New Year

This past year has been a little tough, in a blink of an eye, my grandmother grew up. I saw a picture of her posted by one of my aunts and she looked so much older than I remembered. It broke my heart. An image can either freeze time &/or fast forward the years. I miss her. When I call her, I ask her to tell me a story from my childhood. She typically tells me the same stories, her favorite stories which I love and will cherish forever. And as always, she ends the conversation with, be good to your husband, always love your husband and always tell your kids you love them. With that, I challenge you to ask your parents or grandparents to tell you stories about your childhood.

My quote for 2015:

"Love your parents. We are so busy growing up. We often forget, they are also growing old." - unknown
