1/365: Do what you love

2011 was such an amazing year. I had my frustrations and my doubts.... but as I kept taking each step forward with nothing but faith keeping me going -- I found me. I stepped out of my comfort zone and joined local photography groups and met some great people.

The Stories of Autism project left me with a huge dose of humbleness and a very full heart for the families I have met.

The Welcome Home session I did in the middle of the night gave me such a huge appreciation for all who fight for our country.

Branden being away at college reminded me to be still and be present for Kaili... because they do eventually grow up and leave the nest.

I move into 2012 with just a bit more clarity and definite focus on my personal life and on my business. I am ready to learn.... and grow.... and take in all the memories that are about to take place.

She Walks!

Remember this little one? She just celebrated her first birthday!! I'm feeling a little sadness to see our 'grow with me' session come to an end. It was truly an experience being there to document her little bitty stage... to her sitting... and now watching her walk. Here is just a peek.... more will be revealed in a few days.

Catching the Wave

I had forgotten how beautiful early morning beach sessions can be and this one certainly did not disappoint. Dawnmarie - you are gorgeous! And not just because you wore an absolutely stunning dress but because you absolutely glow when you are near your boys. Here is a peek into our morning. He was so patient... waiting until the moment he would catch that wave.
