A bit of make-up

I was so excited to invite Jenna to do make-up for the beautiful expecting mother to be Thesha. The weather in Carlsbad couldn't have been more perfect, everyone was as comfortable as can be chatting away like we've been friends for a lifetime. undefined

As you can see by the photos below - Jenna knows her stuff! I can't wait to have her give me a makeover :)

Part 2 tomorrow - the lovely Thesha!

A ZILLION

I was asked last week if I would be interested in photographing product shots… I had never done product shots before so of course I was intrigued. There were so many tutorials on-line and over the next few days, my brain was filled with a zillion (well maybe not a zillion) product shot tutorials. All went well and the first proof sets were sent to the company this morning for review. As I sit and wait, I look over the samples I sent over and think to myself – not too shabby for my first go around (I will post the approved examples in the next few days). Because a post is better with a photo… here is an oldie but a goodie – Kaili was four when I shot this :)

The Little Red Firetruck

I met them over the weekend and was warned he may take a bit to warm up to me. I kept my distance, shielded behind a reflector only peeking out for a quick snap and a game of peek-a-boo. It didn't take long for him to inch his way towards me with the little red firetruck... and soon after we became friends. Here is a peek into our session:
